The Baby Got Married–Part 2

We were supposed to get close.

I’m not really sure what’s going on here.

Me, sista, sista’s bff, flower girl.

“But I just want my legos.”

MOH speech.
I winged it, and I made EVERYONE laugh.
I’m not funny, so I did a good job.

Aww, the happy couple.

The “model” pose aka, I just pulled my flask out of my purse and am secretly dumping vodka into my lemonade look.

Cupcake committee:
Confetti cake topped red velvet and chocolate chip.

Maybe one of my favorite pictures of the whole day.

Cha cha…

Everyone get in the elevator, look in the mirror, and smile.

“Hi this is Susan, what’s your emergency, how can I help you?”
”Did someone push the emergency call button?  What’s gonna happen?”
”No we’re fine, it was an accident.”
11 people in one elevator.

“Hey, sexy ladies.”

I’ve had, the time of my life and I owe it all to you.

Word recap coming soon.

The Baby Got Married

My sister is the baby.  She’s younger than me and technically speaking she is the youngest of all the “close” cousins.  Over St. Patty’s Day weekend she got married.  Here are some photos for your enjoyment from the Bachelorette Party and Wedding ceremony.

Starting the night right:  margaritas, peach vodka & squirt, pizza, and fun gifts for the bride to be.
(BM 1, BM 2, BRIDE, me [MOH], cousin, BM 3, friend 1, friend 2)

Shooters in our VIP booth from the owner.

Shooters courtesy of our cousin (just for us)!

Blow job shot by the bride to be = failure.

Let the Festivities Begin…

Time to wake up.

All of us ladies waiting for our time to shine.

Mom and the gents waiting for the bride.

Waiting.  Crying.  Smiling.

Here Comes the Bride.  My dad managed to keep his pants up, funny story at the rehearsal my dad accidentally dropped his pants on a no music trial run.

During the final, music trial run, he did it on purpose.

I’m not sure if this is before or after my sister swats his hand to remind him to say the vows to her, not the pastor.

We were caught crying.  I’m just an emotional MOH.

“So happy together…”

Please, no more photos, we can’t handle the paparazzi.
MOH, Best Man, flower girl, and ring bearer.

The proud momma and poppa.

To be continued….

Trying to Get Back Into It

I will hopefully post photos of my sisters wedding from St. Paddy’s day weekend, soon.

I’ve been super busy, or so it seems and can’t get this blog stuff back in order.

And then I got sick.

So here I am, linking up, and trying to jump start myself

1. If calories didn’t count, I would eat… Nachos, pizza, lasagna, ice cream, cheesecake, reese’s cups, lemon meringue pie, key lime pie, and red velvet cake.

2. On my Prom night…. I didn’t go to prom, so I’m not sure what I did.

3. When I go to the store, I always buy… Gum.

4. Family functions typically… Get a little crazy, but are always tons of fun.

5. I think my blog readers… Are non existent.

6. I’d much rather be….. see #1.

7. I have an obsession with…. Dexter.

8. My work friends…. tell me that my alter ego comes out at 4:30, I get sassy and snarky.

9. When I created my Facebook account…. I was in college pretending to be a wild child.

10. My least favorite word is… panties.  Excuse me while I go clean up my vomit.

11. I really don’t remember…. anything before the age of 10?

12. Justin Bieber…. can suck it.

I feel as though I am legitimately (and yes I might just be too legit to quit) the lamest blogger out there.  I promise, I will definitely get better.

Things I Need to Get Better At

Eating fish.  I forced myself to buy Tilapia at the grocery store.  I don’t know why I say forced, I do actually like it.  It is one of the only fish that I like.  And with my mom’s magic seasoning, it is amazing.  Like mouthwatering I want to eat it right now for breakfast good.

Drinking my coffee black.  I used to drink my coffee with only stevia, and found that it wasn’t so bad.  Now I can’t get away from any kind of coffee creamer.  I am slightly lactose intolerant and have been limiting my dairy intake to the bare minimum.  However, I’m struggling to give it up in my coffee again.  Back at it like nobody’s business after my sister’s wedding that’s for sure.

Going to bed at a decent hour.  I think that I might have insomnia.  I don’t always sleep well, and it is never when I’m in my own bed.  No, I’m not out bed hopping for a good night’s sleep, but I tend to sleep better in other beds.  I also don’t sleep well when I have to get up to go to work.

Not buying red vines and proceeding to shove them all in my mouth and get a massive sugar stomachache.

Blogging.  Seriously, I need to come up with some better stuff quick if I ever want this blog to be more than what it is.  I give credit to the moms, wives, full time workers, who still manage to work out and put food on the table while maintaining a blog with a large following.  You guys are amazing, because I have no kids and am not married, only cook for me and maybe the bf and still can’t get a blog post out.

I don’t want this post to be negative, these are just some random things that I think I could improve that would make my life, and those around me’s lives better.

Weekend Getaway

Weekend Blog Hop Time

Since the bf rarely gets a whole weekend off, we decided to go up to LA for the weekend and actually do something for a change.

We went to the LA Museum of the Holocaust (so awesome, wish we would have gotten there earlier, it’s free! – no photos).

Relaxed and headed to where any person would go when they are hungry:

$36 = two president margaritas, onion string and jalapeno stack, mango chicken and sirloin steak, and the most ginormously delicious dessert.  Mmmm…

Then we relaxed in the hotel, because what’s the point of a nice comfy hotel bed if you ain’t gonna use it, am I right?

We woke up bright and early to go to Hollywood and do some hiking.

(For some reason my photos won’t stay in order, my apologies, the first two are hiking, the next are Hollywood, and the back to hiking).

Runyon Canyon:

I really enjoy hiking, and hope to go back here and do more of it because it was really awesome.  It was a pretty great day for it and surprisingly it didn’t look like there was too much smog.  Win!

I hope you all had a super awesome weekend!
