I wrote a post on this, but here’s a direct link since it is completely who I am:
I’ve lost just over 50 pounds and plan on maintaining from this point on. The heaviest I’ve ever been is 199 lbs, and now I weight 144. I feel amazing and I can not believe that I’ve managed to do this. The largest I’ve ever worn is a size 16, and now I currently am a 4 or 6. I’ve always been chubby/overweight, but now I feel great about myself.
I’ve fallen back in love with fitness and being healthy. I believe in the philosophy of 80/20 (or 60/40 – no less than that). I eat healthy 80% of the time, and bad 20% of the time. I eat what I want in moderation, and keep it all in check. I love to run and I love to lift weights. I can’t say which I prefer, because they each give me a different high. I like to be active, and can’t sit still. I hope that my experience can encourage anyone and everyone to find their healthiest life, whatever it might be.
